Program Overview

In my  Live Long Stay Young program, I’ll offer you the necessary tools to understand your risk factors, complete an evaluation to determine your future risk and offer you a plan to remove your name from those statistics.  By working with you every step of the way we can highlight risk and take the right steps to greatly improve your quality of life for years to come.

Everything starts with a detailed assessment of your heart and cardiovascular system. We’ll ask you to complete an easy-to-follow questionnaire. It will ask you about your medical history, your family history, and information about your lifestyle, exercise habits, stress management techniques, and a whole host of other key pieces of vital information.

Our system is specifically designed to make the most of your time. We will complete as much testing as we can in one session, based on your individual results. It all starts with an in-depth history, and comprehensive cardiac physical.

You’ll receive a complete assessment of your risk factors. A battery of tests will be performed to evaluate your current cardiac health evaluating the amount of cholesterol plaque that has built up in your arteries, your hearts ability to pump blood, and an advanced lipid panel to help you understand your metabolic system. At least 50% of patients who have suffered heart attack had “normal” cholesterol numbers on a traditional lipid panel.

With this advanced metabolic test, you will receive information that goes beyond those numbers. You will understand cholesterol, the degree of inflammation in your body that contributes to heart disease, your risk for diabetes, genetic tests, and other novel markers that increase your risk for heart disease, as well as a better understanding of how your current diet might be affecting your body.

From there, we’ll conduct our proven 5-step approach to get a complete picture of your heart’s health.

  • Step 1: Comprehensive Risk Factor Assessment
  • Step 2: Advance Lipid Panel
  • Step 3: Structural Evaluation of the Heart
  • Step 4: Detailed Heart Function Testing
  • Step 5: Assessment of Functional Capacity

This enables us to create a fully customized treatment plan that even includes daily guidance on how best to work on unhealthy habits that are increasing the risk of developing heart disease.

Once all of your results have been prepared, your physician will discuss with you all of the findings and present you with a comprehensive evaluation. You will be presented with recommendations in a concise, tangible, and actionable plan, all designed to enhance your lifestyle and increase your longevity.

Your plan includes:

  • Analysis of the tests
  • A complete education on your current balance of critical enzymes, amino acids, vitamins and minerals that are important for heart health
  • A lifestyle plan including exercise, dietary plan and necessary supplements to help in the preservation of a healthy heart
